Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.

Story

Hello friends, family and aquaintances.....

Our team is attempting to cross the English Channel in our inflatable kayaks one day in May dependent on weather.  We are doing this to raise money for an excellent cause.  We are not very good at kayaking so it should be a challenge worth your hard earned cash.  We will give it our all.

You may already know why we are doing this.  Lucy, one of our closest friends, died on April 17th 2012 from cervical cancer.  At the end, she was at Manorlands Hospice and was peaceful with friends and family around her.

Throughout the advanced stages of her illness, Lucy and her family were extremely grateful for the support offered by the Manorlands Hospice.  Manorlands is run by the Sue Ryder charity.  We would be grateful if you could dig deep and help us support this great cause.
