In 2013 I obtained a ballot entry into the first Prudential London Surrey 100 cycle ride. In between my ballot application and ride confirmation my father found he had Cancer.

This year I received a ballot ride and his Cancer returned. Sadly my father passed away in March. 

I discussed the ride with my son who decided to ride with me for the CRUK Team.

My father John has been mine and his grandchildren's cycling inspiration. I will hopefully be completing this 100 mile ride with my son, just like I rode with his grandad in 1992.
