Paul's Living below the Line

Living below the Line · 21 July 2014
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Starting on 21st July 2014, I will live on a £1 per day food budget for 5 days. This is in support of the 'Live Below The Line' challenge, an initiative of the Global Poverty Project. This represents the amount that 1.22 billion people in poverty have to spend on food.
We will be raising money for the Oxford Food Bank. This is a local registered charity which aims:
The Oxford Food Bank collects fresh food from local supermarkets and wholesalers and delivers it for free to over 40 registered charities in the Oxford area. For every £1 that they receive in donations they deliver around £25 worth of fruit, vegetables, bread and dairy products. That’s currently nearly £1 million worth of food a year!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
