When Paul Willgoss asked me to nominate a charity for his fundiraising activities I immediately thought of the Paul Strickland Scanner Centre. Last year I was diagnosed with cancer and I've spent a lot of time since using their facilities. Early identification is a key weapon in the battle against cancer and so I was surprised to find that the Scanner Centre is entirely funded by charitable donations. I'm grateful to Paul for giving me the chance to raise money for such a worthwhile cause.
