Bath Half Marathon 2010 · 7 March 2010 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Hi. Thankfully, my arm is covering a multitude of eating and drinking sins here. This was several months ago in the Chippenham Half and things have gone from bad to worse. So I've been forced back out on to the road to train for the Bath Half.  Foolishly, I've said I'd quite like to get round in under two hours, although the ice and snow of December and January has hit my training so hard that my ambition is likely to get scaled down to just the getting round bit.

I'm once again raising money to fund research into the cruellest of diseases through the Alzheimer's Society.

If you can help, I'd be really grateful.

If you'd like to follow my progress in the run-up to the race - not remotely in any way to be confused with the whingeing witterings of a middle-aged desk jockey - go to http://www.thisisbath.co.uk/bathhalf2010
