Thank you for coming to this page, it means a lot to us.
Paul was an incredibly special person, and fought the most horrendous and rare brain disease for over a year, a disease that has a one in a million chance of randomly developing.
Sporadic CJD has no cure, and is so rare there is not enough data to create a cure. Paul generously allowed a variety of tests to be taken throughout his illness in order to assist the scientists and specialists.
Caring for him throughout were his family, who ensured his comfort and quality of life, surrounding him with love right up to his last breath.
We appreciate everyone who helped us over the past year, one of the main reasons we were not overwhelmed and were able to give Paul such care, was that we had such huge support.
Dad will be missed by us so very much, we are so grateful for everything he did for us and meant to us and we were honoured to have cared and looked after such a unique man.
We thank you for supporting the people who supported us.
