This is my first ever marathon race and I have decided to do it in style in the Flora London Marathon on 23 April with the Whizz Kidz team.
I have chosen the Whizz Kidz charity, because I specifically want to help children who do not quite have the same advantages in life that most of us are blessed with.
About £2,500 will buy a motorised wheel chair and it costs another £1,500 for training. This will give mobility to a child that most children take for granted: running and playing with friends, trips to the park, taking part in school sports day….
