Virgin London Marathon 2012 · 22 April 2012 ·

St Margaret’s Hospice has been at the heart of Somerset’s community for over 40 years, delivering high quality, responsive and compassionate care to patients and their families facing a life-limiting illness.

Story

Hi all

It came as a shock when I found out I was going to run the London Marathon at my company Christmas Party - but the charity I'll be supporting was a no-brainer. St Margaret's Hospice looked after my much missed Mum before she died in September 2009. Not a day goes by without me thinking of her. So I'll try and get round on April 22nd 2012 in her memory.

For those of you that know me well, you'll know that having abused my body constantly for 25 years, running 26 miles will be a massive effort. So please dig deep and donate.

Many many thanks to you all.
