<p>In April next year i will be running the London Marathon, it will be 1 year and 3 weeks pretty much to the day that i went in to Hospital with Pneumococcal Meningtis. I was lucky and after spending time in a coma and a total of 2 weeks in hospital i made a pretty close to full recovery. Not everyone does and this is why i want to raise money to aid additional research into this killer illness, it will help work into developing a cure and also just aid in better identification. I presented with a headache and was initially allowed home, fortunately family members came to check on me, this shows just how hard this illness is to diagnose. More work needs to be done so please donate what you can.</p>
