Virgin London Marathon 2015 · 26 April 2015 ·

The nation’s leading first aid charity. Every year, more than 400,000 people learn how to save a life through our training programmes. Our volunteers provide first aid in their communities and thanks to them fewer lives will be lost needlessly. Raise money. Help save lives. Be the difference.

Story

Hello there! You’ve arrived at my London Marathon Just Giving page! I must have been pestering you a lot so firstly I want to say thanks!

So why am I doing this? Back in September ten colleagues and I took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to kick off our new charity partnership with St John Ambulance. We managed to achieve our fundraising target of £3,500 and now we want to set the bar higher. 7 of us from EMR are taking on this challenge with a target £1800 each; £12,600 in total.

Where will your money go? £80 could pay for someone to attend a half day first aid course learning skills that could mean the difference between life and death. £120 could pay for a St John Ambulance trainer to teach first aid to 30 school children.

Any little contribution is more than welcome and if you would like to learn more about this fundraising event please feel free to contact me on paul.webb@emr.co.uk or call me on 07717 756 747.
