Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Yipeee treatment is almost over......what do you think of the 'Sinead' look???
As most of you will know (or guess from the picture) life dealt us a major challenge last year when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I am pleased to say Paula 1 Cancer 0.....you chose the wrong body 'C'.
Challenge brings opportunity, and I have had the opportunity to meet some amazing people, who as well as friends and family (thanks to you all, you know who you are) have supported me through this rocky road.
To give a little back I have decided to walk another rocky road, this time one of my choosing...along with Mandy and Liz, I am taking on the challenge of Hadrian's Wall 28th May - 6th June 2010.
I would be really grateful if you would sponsor our venture to support the Paul D'Auria Centre, a truly tranquil place with truly inspirational peolple. The centre was one of the few places I was able to feel 'normal', during my illness. They provide amazing services from practical financial advice to hollistic therapies such as massage and reflexology, all by volunteers. Like many charities they are struggling in the current economic climate and any support you can offer will be very gratefully received and wisely used to support other people 'C' tries to rudely drop in on.
Please don't be shy in passing this message on to friends ...the more people it gets to the more people the Paul D'Auria Centre will be able to support.
Thank you all and I hope to see you very soon.
Thank you to Gran & Papa Bovill, Phil & Dot, David & Gillian, Coralie, and Libby & Tony who all generously donated offline.
Lots of love and good health
