Story

Alfie was diagnosed with leukaemia on the 30th May 2019.

Alfie has had to have intense treatment. His treatment wasn’t working so he had to have his treatment changed to regimen C. Alfie has had to under go chemotherapy, lumber punctures under anaesthetic, scans and plenty of blood tests.

Alfies beads help him talk about his journey with Leukaemia so far. It helps him explain to people what he has had to deal with so far.

We met Angela, Steve, Paul and Aidan when Alfie was first diagnosed. They have become great friends. They  have helped us understand the amazing work beads of courage do. When Alfies old school which his sister currently attends asked if they could raise money we thought of this charity straight away and wanted to help Eilish fundraising.
