Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

After numerous IVF attempts over the past 4 years and 1 early miscarriage, we finally got pregnant with twins in September 2020. We were overjoyed when we made it to the 12 week scan and everything was looking good. Over the next few weeks we really began to believe we would finally have our family.

At 20 weeks and 3 days we lost our beautiful twins, Dylan and Isabel to pre term, pre labour rupture of membranes (PPROM), caused by chorioamnioitis and group b strep. We had never heard of this happening, so were very ignorant of it.  Since then, we have looked it up and researched it a lot and found that, sadly,  many other parents have had to walk the heartbreaking path we are now following.

To help prevent too many other parents having to suffer this loss, please donate to the UCLH, to help fund research into healing the membranes, to help stop PPROM ending little lives before they've had a chance to begin. THANK YOU 💖
