Cricket coaching Africa 2013 · 28 September 2013

Cricket Without Boundaries is dedicated to helping, educating and developing local communities around the world through the spread and growth of cricket. Crucially, CWB also uses cricket as a tool in the fight against AIDS. CWB’s training sessions have at their heart discussion about the disease in terms of prevention, treatment and equality of treatment for those with and without the disease.

Story

I am very excited to have been selected to go to Rwanda in October this year as part of the Cricket Without Boundaries Charity. This charity links my love of cricket through coaching children from the age of 4-18 linking with the HIV awareness message.

I will be travelling to Rwanda in October this year to spend two weeks in the local schools coaching children not as lucky as ourselves.  Also linking with this to HIV awareness which affects over 210,000 people in the country. Rwanda is also one of the worlds least developed countries ranked 166 of 187 in the UN development programme.

All monies raised will go directly to the coaching of children and provide them with equipment.  I will personally be paying for my own flight, accommodation and food/drink.

Please dig deep and support this very worthy cause.
