Story
Hi
2012 was a challenging year for me, so hitting my 49th birthday in January, I decided to make 2013 a year to remember for as many good reasons as 2012 had bad (if not more). So, I set myself the challenging of achieving 50 new things before I am 50!
I have, over the years, pondered doing the London to Brighton cycle run, but small children, work, home life (oh yes, and a bit of laziness!) have all got in the way so it has never happened. But, with my two youngest now teenagers and the other three grown up some while ago, my work life now stable and my house neat and tidy from a thorough spring-clean over Easter, I have no excuses (except the laziness!) to get training and do the ride from the capital to the seaside this very June!
The event is organised by the British Heart Foundation (which is relevant to us all, as, let's face it, we all have one - a heart that is), who are a charity and rely on donations to keep doing the work they do.
So, please could you sponsor me to do this event. It will help to keep the BHF coffers full and help me achieve one of my 50 new things before the big '5' '0' next January. : )
Thank you.
