Story

When I was a little girl I remember every year on the morning of the London Marathon my dad would be glued to the TV watching all the runners taking part. I loved listening to their amazing stories and was inspired by the dedication and generosity of those involved and I remember thinking one day I want to be one of them.....

....and this year in April I will AND I AM SOOO EXCITED !!! This year I turn 40 years old and I have decided its now or never, so the training has begun... I am lucky to be running for a brilliant charity called The PBC Foundation who do amazing work supporting suffers of Primary Biliary Cirrhosis and their families.

The PBC Foundation is involved in research into causes of the disease which are still relatively unknown and ongoing search for a cure. They provide support and information not only to sufferers but their families and friends too.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I also so want to thank some special people for their support with my training and without whom I would not be able to take part - :-))

Dave for keeping me on track, Zac, mum and dad for looking after Molly when I go for a run, Gail for picking up Molly on Thursday nights , Kerry and Sally for Thursday training and motivation, Uncle Paul for babysitting and my dad for giving me the dream.....

The support I have had from my work has also been amazing - every week I am asked how my training is going and how far I have managed to run - thanks guys- I really appreciate it!
