Pauline Nolan is raising money for Young Lives vs Cancer
In memory of All children and young people affected by cancer and all the children i have known who have gained their wings.
Story
Hi im Pauline,
Mum of a very energetic 6 year old. Things were different when he was a baby. Eddie was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma childhood cancer, a tumour was growing in his tummy and the cancer was spreading to various parts of his body including his lungs.
Eddie underwent various rounds of chemotherapy and also surgery to extract the tumour that was growing in his tummy.
Were the lucky ones believe it or not. Eddie is 6 and very full of life. He has check ups now only for his NF1 (genetic condition) but its all looking good.
The reason for the run really is to thank clic sargent the nurses, social workers the home from home in which we stayed for almost 6 months.
I hope that you all dig deep and help me raise as much as i can for Clic Sargent.
