On Sunday, 9th August 2009, in memory of my son Joe, his family and friends, will be doing a sponsored walk in aid of The Walton Centre.

The walk, reminiscent of Joe's favourite song, The Proclaimer's "500 miles (I'm gonna be)", involves 100 people walking five miles each through Croxteth Country Park. 

Funds raised will be used by The Neuroscience Unit to purchase equipment to help those who have a head injury.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. If this event goes well, we'll hopefully repeat it next year, as the song says 'I would walk 500 miles and I would walk 500 more', so if you can't join us this year, there's always next :-)
