Story

Paul and Alison are getting married on 9 June 2012, and we decided not to do the wedding present list thing, but instead to set up donation pages to charities we would like to support.

Mountain rescue teams receive some government funding, but their operating costs are much higher than the amounts they receive. The teams are made up of volunteers who risk their own lives to rescue people when things go wrong.

We spend a lot of time in the hills and although we haven't had to call on them yet (...!), we'd like to show our support for the work they do.

We chose the Braemar team because they woke us up in the Corrour Bothy in January. Thanks guys.

We'd really appreciate it if you were to donate to the Braemar Mountain Rescue team. Thanks.
