RG Kilimanjaro Trek 2011 and School Build · 14 August 2011

Build Africa believe in the power of education to help end poverty. We work to give children the education they need and fight the inequalities that stand in their way.

Story

I am once again training a team and climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro in August to raise money for Build Africa, a charity that believes in making a sustainable difference for the next generation in Tanzania and Kenya by funding and supporting school building projects, and as importantly teacher training and governence in the most needy rural areas. As part of the charity's long term approach, some of the money is also being spent on HIV and health awareness training, child protection, gender and disability discrimination in schools. As a group they are planning to raise £20,000.00 for a particular project, the Kombe school in the Mwala district of Kenya. Details of what the money will be used for is in photo 2. All the money riased is for the charity, none of it is being used to pay for my flights, trek, accommodation etc. After the climb we are all going to the school to spend 5 days working on parts of the project.

So please dig deep and donate now. Thanks, Paul.
