Story

Last year both Marie Brown and myself did the Boundary 500 Santa Run in aid of Zoe's Place, Hospice for terminally ill children and the Great North Air Ambulance. We didn't enroll until just before the event and as such we only had a week to raise as much as we could. Collectively through the generosity of everyone that donated, we raised a staggering £349 in just under a week.

Sadly Marie was taken from us earlier this year in a tragic motorbike accident at the young age of just 19 and I know it will be tough riding without her. I am drawing inspiration from the kindess and generosity of people that are supporting me.

We both planned on doing the event again so I've enrolled and have set my fund raising target at last years collective total of £349

Please give as much as you can for a worthy cause in Zoe's Place baby hospice as they are in desperate need of funds. This year has seen a 20% downturn in donations recieved by them and combined with a flood earlier this year has been financially tough for them to cope with. Please give as much as you can.

many thanks

Paul

About the charity

Zoe's Place is a home from home for babies/infants who have life limiting and life threatening conditions. Zoe's Place offers palliative, specialist respite, and end of life care for infants from birth to five years old. We receive very little funding and therefore rely on donations/fundraising.
