I'll be running in the Adidas Women's 5K Challenge on September 6th for the IMC UK. I'm not a great runner, nor have I ever done anything like the Adidas Challenge before! I'm not even sure if I'll be running, walking ... or even crawling over the finish line. However, I do know that any money that I can raise for the IMC will go to a great cause. Donations will go to training midwives in developing countries so that they can more proactively reduce fatality during pregnancy and childbirth. Current statistics show that over half a million women die each year during pregnancy and childbirth of which 97% alone is in developing countries.
