My story

I have decided along with my father Chris Sumner (who will be 65 when we do the walk) to take up the challenge of walking the 268 miles that make up the Pennine Way in just 13 days during August 2012 to raise money for the MS Society.

As you may or may not know my partner Gill suffers from one form of Multiple Sclerosis ("Relapsing Remitting MS") and I wanted to do something to raise money to fund ongoing vital research that will hopefully find a cure, improve treatment and generally improve the lives of the 100,000 plus people in the UK who suffer with this neurological condition and who are supported by the MS Society through their tireless work.

For more details on MS please use the following link: http://www.mssociety.org.uk/about_ms/index.html

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the MS Society.

The following website will be used to update people on our progress prior to and during the walk.

Thank you

Antony & Christopher Sumner
