Pennington Peakies: Barnabus Brick Appeal · 12 June 2015

Barnabus has been supporting people experiencing homeless in Manchester for over 30 years. Everything we do comes down to one thing: to help people in their journey off the streets. No matter how long it takes, we’ll be here, every step of the way.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the Pennington Peakies JustGiving page. On 28-29 July we are walking the 3 peaks challenge!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

The Pennington Peakies are walking the national three peaks challenge in 24 hours.

The challenge involves climbing Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in the Lake District and  Snowdon in Wales. We are attempting to complete all three peaks in 24 hours.

Why we are walking the three peaks.

Pennington Choices have chosen, as property people, to support and raise money for The Brick Appeal from Barnabus, a Manchester based homelessness charity.

With your help and donations, we can rebuild and transform the lives of homeless and vulnerable people in Manchester.

The Brick Appeal story from Barnabus

Having outgrown our existing drop-in, we now need to extend and adapt our existing building to suit the growing numbers and needs of homeless people seeking our support in Manchester.

With your help, a larger drop-in will enable us to offer broader and more effective support structures, to help overcome individual circumstances and bring about long lasting change.

It will be a place of sanctuary, community, restoring dignity and aiding recovery.
