Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In a moment of madness I have agreed - and have been lucky enough to get a place - to walk the Playtex Moonwalk 2010. This is a marathon distance powerwalk overnight and in my bra! (Their website has some photos to give you a clue!). I am walking with two friends - Claire and Amanda - and collectively we have called ourselves the South Eastern Slappers because we met whilst commuting to work from Kent on South Eastern Trains.

We are walking in memory of those who are close to us whose lives have been touched by cancer, particularly breast cancer, of whom there are far too many.

We had a great time on the walk - as you can see, despite it being much harder than we had anticipated. The atmosphere was brilliant - and even at 4.00 in the morning there were people cheering us on.
