I RAN 10 MARATHONS OVER 10 DAYS - IT WAS HARD,EMOTIONAL, PHYSICALLY CHALLENGING AND TOTALLY AMAZING - I averaged 5.07 hours and even ran the fastest one on number 10 : 4 hours 52 minutes - WOW!!

Take time to view -  and you will never be the same again  www.cumbrialive.tv/Brathay10in10/index.htm?config1=file/get/Brathay-PennyMoreton500.M4V - it'll show you why

12 women have ever completed this challenge and I am now one of them - how good is that ???? Worthy of a few £££ for THE BRATHAY TRUST don't you think??

10 road marathons around the largest lake in the Lake District - Lake Windermere - that's a marathon on the 13th/14th/15th/16th/17th/18th/19th/20th/21st and 22nd May - it's going to be very brutal.... very tiring....up hills ..down hills...up hills but so exciting!!!!!!!!

I am being mad enough to do this incredibly difficult and hard training for the ultimate of 10 marathons in 10 days.

Fabulous donations - oodles of thank yous to you - to the Rumic Trust Foundation and Laing O'Rourke Ltd - £500!!!! from each of you - tremendous and really appreciated; 262 miles will feel so 'much easier' with that backing - thank you

The main event is due to start on 13th May at 10.30am   -  keep reading my blog to keep up to date - www.brathaywindermeremarathon.org.uk   please feel free to add comments to spur me on my way  -that's after you've sponsored me of course by pushing the blue 'donate now 'button on this site - thank you.

In the London Marathon on the 17th April in my new Brathay 10 in 10 vest and go faster striped blonde hair; I had a blast, covering the 26.2 miles in 4 hours 18 minutes and 24 seconds - it was great!!

Thanks go to Millom School who have  donated a fabulous £215 just two weeks ago  -isn't that just brilliant.

Elvis Presley is 'alive' and very well - what a night at the Calder House Hotel Seascale  - a fan tabby dozy £456 was raised - so THANK YOU TO EVERYONE whi made such a brill night; especially my hosts Steve and Andy (www.calderhouse.co.uk) and the magnificent John 'Elvis' Helligan

Thanks are extended to these fantastic people who are continuing to support me  - Pete Bland Sports, Team Nutrition, Body Rehab, Asics, Gill Cycles and Liz Leech along with the Brathay crew.

Just wish my fantastic father could be there to witness the journey that now is rapidly unfolding, his very sudden death before Christmas took away a great deal of my confidence as he always gave me such self belief- the disadvantaged youngsters that will benefit from your sponsorship donations have no one to give them the self belief that there is a better life after gang culture, unsocial behaviour and knife crime.

Brathay can help really make a difference with their work at grass roots with these young people

. Continue to follow my progress at www.brathaywindermeremarathon.org.uk on my blog

Please dig deep and donate now - to help me help those who need it most

Thank you very much everything you give goes to the charity

Personal best - 4.52.52 for my tenth of ten - just brilliant!!!!!!!!

Only 43 people and ONLY 12 WOMEN have done this in the whole wide world!! I am one of those 12 to complete it -how great is that!!!!!!!!!!!!!
