London to Brighton Challenge 2018 · 26 May 2018 to 27 May 2018 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

We are challenging ourselves in 2018 by taking part in the London2Brighton challenge - this is a 100km walk from Richmond to Brighton which is taking place over the second Bank Holiday weekend in May: 26th & 27th.  We will be part of a team of 13 people from The Pensions Regulator, and we are aiming to raise a total of £10,000.

The challenge is starting at 9am on the Saturday and we will be walking all day, overnight and then finishing in Brighton on the Sunday morning.  If you would like to come and support us during the event, the route can be found on the london2brightonchallenge.com website.

We would be so grateful if you were able to support us in this challenge as we walk in memory of Penny's Mum, Janet, who passed away in 2014 after suffering for some years with this disease.
