So you managed to find my page and now you need to give me some dosh!

Seriously though, I don't like asking folk for money for things that give me so much enjoyment.

I'm not quite sure how I managed to sign myself up for this but, basically, we are a group of 4 amateur cyclists that know each other through mutual pathways and decided to see how much pain we can inflict on ourselves.  And no, we weren't pissed!  The adventure is completely self-funded - every penny we raise will go to MacMillan.

I plan to cycle at the back of the group for the entire journey; the view of 3 lovely male bums will keep me going for the 12 back-to-back days in the saddle!  I'm slightly worried that the one nearest to me in age is ten years younger than I!

Here's the rub:  Whilst not having been in need of MacMillan myself, I have had a neighbour, a work colleague, a running club buddy and a two young mum friends all suffer cancer recently and any one of them may have needed the help this fantastic organisation.  Sadly, one didn't make it.............

If everyone I know on Facebook donates £1 that would make my day.
