Urban Mountain Challenge · 1 March 2018

The RAF Benevolent Fund is the RAF's leading welfare charity. We have been there for all members of the RAF Family for over 100 years. Last year we assisted more than 70,000 members of the RAF Family. Support us in 2024 and help us reach even more members of the RAF Family.

Story

On Thursday 1st March a group of 4 personnel from RAF Northolt will be climbing up and down the stairs of The Gherkin building to equal the height of Mount Everest. That is 50 ascents and 50 descents, all within 12 hours. This challenge has never been attempted before at The Gherkin.

All fund will go to The RAF Benevolent Fund, the RAF's leading charity. The Benevolent Fund help current and ex serving military families who are in need of support for numerous reasons.

The overall target for the event is £2,500. There will also be a collection to the general public in order to raise more funds.

If you can spare any cash to help us reach our target it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
