Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have been amazed at the effort and commitment of lots of family and friends who have arranged and participated in many fundraising events, since I became ill in September 2011. I have tried to be present at as many of them as possible and have lasting memories of them all.

It's now my turn!

We are called the Auld Codgers and 9 of us are attempting the Coast to Coast cycle ride on 3 June, from Whitehaven to Sunderland. The youngsters did it last year and I formed part of the support crew, so I know roughly what lies ahead!

I know you have probably already given to some of the previous fundraising efforts, but recently one of our big sponsors withdrew their support.This has significantly depleted our funds, so we are doubling our efforts to compensate for this loss.
