Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We’re planning a 400+ mile, 4 day ride for 50 cyclists (I will be one of those cyclists), leaving from Queen Square in Bristol early on the morning of Wednesday 15th June and arriving at Portsmouth docks that evening in time to catch an overnight ferry to St Malo.

Once we’ve disembarked, rested and refuelled, it’s 3 fantastic days cycling through rural France, with overnight stops in the region of Nantes and Rochefort, finishing in Bordeaux on the evening of Saturday 18th June for a well-deserved glass of wine or two!

We then travel back up north with the support vehicles to get the ferry home on Monday 20th June, and arrive back at Briarwood School in Fishponds, Bristol that evening.

We will be accompanied by several bike mechanics, a qualified physiotherapist and a number of first aiders.

What Props do

Essentially we are an inclusive organisation for those with learning disabilities. We pride ourselves on the relationships we foster with a variety of community partners, to further partnerships in the areas of work and business, sports and leisure and the performing arts.

Our name “PROPS” comes from our roots in the rugby community, and indeed, we have adopted the ethos and values of the famous “Barbarian” rugby teams of the past, and adhere to equity, excellence and inclusion.

The delivery of inclusive education course work is central to our aims of providing meaningful and purposeful vocational experiences for youngsters with special needs.
Download our Vassall’s brochure here

Based at te Vassals Centre in Bristol we are perfectly placed to unite with a modern and stimulating environment. Find out more about Vassals here

Our project work involves the design and implementation of schemes that give opportunities for young people to share, perform and contribute to a wide variety of everyday entitlements. But, by entering into relationships with any of our projects, our community partners also benefit from our educational platform.
