Story
Hello all,
So here is my page to let you all know about why I'm running for the Scientific Exploration Society (SES) and to try and convince you to donate to this great charity.
As the paragraph to the right explains, the SES works to combine scientific research with conservation projects and the delivery of humanitarian aid. That means that all of the work that we do is to benefit human kind whether it be learning more about the planet that we live on and its environment, understanding the animals and plants that live on earth or providing direct support to people that need it the most. To read about previous expeditions that the SES has undertaken and the great work that they have carried out visit http://www.ses-explore.org/.
What motivates me is that this is an organisation that does some really great work and which I would like to be involved in and help out where I can. The first way that I can see to do this is to raise money for them. As you might have noticed, there isnt that much time between now (21 Jan) and the marathon itself (21 Apr) and therefore I really would appreciate your support. I am aiming for a time of around 3:30 if anyone is interested!
Anyway, thanks for reading and please if you can, sponsor me on behalf of this great cause.
