My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In January this year my father passed away after a 12 month fight against Cancer. His great passion in life was the outdoors, walking, climbing and anything involving nature and the environment. After he passed away and we were all reminiscing about what he had done throughout his life I came across this photo. This epitomised his life. One of my additional roles at work is the Charity Champion hoping to raise money for our chosen Charity (changes each year). This year the Charity is Alzheimer’s Society. Part of their fund raising activities involves expeditions abroad. This year’s expedition is to Kilimanjaro, and I thought, although not as fit as I was twenty years ago it would be a fitting tribute to my father if I was a successful applicant for this challenge.
So here I am!!
