Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm always looking for new and inventive ways to torture myself, and cycling the length of the country seems the perfect way! We'll be heading off from John O'Groats on the 12th June, heading down through Scotland, the Lake District, the Shropshire borders, through Cheddar Gorge and finishing in the tough hills of Cornwall and Devon, before reaching Lands End on the 20th June.

We'll be doing over 110 miles a day on average, for 9 days straight, through some of the more challenging parts of the british geography! My training to date has included a lot of cycling, and even more eating (I reckon that we'll be burning through over 4,000 calories a day...that's a lot of pies!). The toughest day will see us cycling 130 miles, and the equivalent of cycling up and down Snowdon 3 times!

I'm supporting the GB Paralympic Squad for the ride... with 2012 only 2 years away it's vital we give all our athletes all the support we can.
