I decided to do the London Marathon for Cancer Research UK because I have a friend who is going through a bad time at the moment.  She is amazing - a lady with a fantastic voice who is so brave coping with what life has thrown at her at a very young age - just 23!  She inspires me with how she stays so cheerful and strong despite operations and a lot of pain and just gets on with her life.  I have so much respect for how she copes that any time I'm feeling down or want to complain the thought of her makes me just get on with it - I'm going to work really hard to ensure that this marathon is my best for a long time and no matter how it hurts I'll never give up!  This is for you farmer!!
