Tatton Park Triathlon 2010 · 18 September 2010 ·

Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice supports babies and infants with life limiting and life threatening conditions, and their families, from across the North West region. Our specialised hospice offers a home from home environment - where babies love to visit, and where families know that their child is safe.

Story

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.

Your details are safe – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

I haven't got a target amount in mind but want to raise as much as possible for Zoe's Place - a fantastic baby / children's hospice that gets no other funding, other than donations from people like us.

As for the race, I've trained as hard as I can for this and have even given up booze to try and improve my fitness!

It's an Olympic distance Triathlon (1.5km swim; 40k bike; 10k run) and I'm hoping to beat 3 hours, including transition times.

If you would like any more details please let me know and I will happily bore you rigid with my tails of injuries, physio, swimming through a jungle of reeds and lots more reasons why this was a really stupid idea!

Thanks very much for sponsoring me - it's for a brilliant cause.

Best wishes. Pete.
