Biking for Children in Care
Once again this year we are taking part in a charity bike ride in aid of the Who Cares Trust, as part of a group of 50 riders covering about 250 miles in 3 ½ days. This year the ride is down the Mosel Valley in Germany from Trier, on the French border, to Koblenz, where it meets the Rhine.
Every rider aims to raise £600 each towards the Trust, which funds educational and recreational projects for children leaving care. Check the Who Cares Trust website on their purpose and various activities. Each year the rides raise over £30k. All the costs of the ride itself is met by the participants, so every penny raised goes to the charity.
Our team in Cafcass has usually been represented on these rides. There are just two of us joining the big group this year, so any amount of sponsorship you can afford will be greatly appreciated.
