Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

My mother suffered from Parkinson's in the last years of her life. She and my father would have benefited from the support that is now offered by Parkinson's Nurses.

A friend of mine, Brian Corbin, is also suffering from Parkinson's and has encouraged a groups of friends and relations to join him in raising money to fund the training and employment of specialist nurses to support people who develop Parkinsons. More background on Brians own experience can be found at www.punkwalk.co.uk..

So..Brian has organised a team to walk from London to Brighton....which is a long way and too far for my decrepit knee, so I have formed a relay team with Laura (daughter) Clare (sister) and Alex (brother-in-law and No1 record producer) to attempt the feat...

if you could help out that woudl be great...thanks Pete
