The da Vinci Surgical Robot is one of the most technologically advanced surgical systems in the world. Surgery undertaken using the da Vinci Robot results in significantly less pain, less blood loss, less risk of wound infection, reduced scarring and faster recovery times for patients.

The approximate number of people within the UK who currently have diagnosis of cancer is 1.2 million. Experts are predicting by 2025 the number of people with a cancer diagnosis could be nearer 3.6 million.
