Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 8th June, together with 23 other friends, I am cycling from Bordeaux to Barcelona. A distance of 500 miles in 5 days. (Well about 486, but 500 sounds much more impressive you'll have to agree). This is not a relay, we all intend to cycle the full distance.
I have decided to raise money for FSID, the Foundation for Sudden Infant Death. This is a charity which Nikki and I have supported since the sad death of our second son Ben, at the age of two months. When we lost Ben it was devastating to us and Luke, and took a very long time to begin to come to terms with it. I hope to raise as much as possible to help others. Should I manage to get fit and lose a bit of weight too, well that's a personal bonus.
