Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Brighton Marathon this year.  I am trying to raise  money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

I heard about this charity when a friend of my daughters was diagnosed with cancer, at the age of 5.

Henry has been an inspiration to all that know him, and has fought the illness with a smile on his face. He has had to deal with chemotherary, radiotherapy, and all of the terrible side effects that are associated with the treatments. He has been receiving treatment at the Royal Marsden Hospital, for the last six months and the funding for the research into his condition originates here.

I am very happy to say, that whilst I have been training, and putting this together that Henry has recently been given the all clear, and is now officially in remission, but will continue to have regular scans to monitor him.

The Marsden is the chosen cahrity of Henry's parents, who have applauded the help and support that they have received from the Hospital.

Thanks for reading this, and please give a bit, as 26 miles seems a bloody long way at the moment.
