I chose to run for this charity because my wife is a long time sufferer of type 1 diabetes and has had a number of health complications through her life as a result, ranging from near daily injections to kidney failure to diabetic retinopathy and dialasis. 

It's thanks to organisations like just giving and diabetes uk that my wife is still alive today. so raising a little bit of money to help them is my way of giving something back.
