On April 13th 2014 I will be joining thousands of others to run the greatest marathon in the world through the streets of London.  In the lead up to this I will also be completing the horrors that are winter Tough Guy and the Silverstone half marathon!!

All of this will be on behalf of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation who are working so hard to find a cure for type 1 diabetes.  This is a disease that is misunderstood by so many and is something thousands of young people need to live with every day, while others are still dying as a consequence of this disease.

Why am I doing this???

I turned 40 in June and decided that I was going to test myself physically, mentally and emotionally throughout the year to push myself to the limit.  I am currently broken from previous challenges but won't allow anything to stop me from achieving everything I set out to do - plus I love a good medal!!!!!  :o)
