As you probably know I'm not one to turn down a challenge, so when I saw the opportunity to run a marathon, I couldn't really resist! On November the 7th this year, I will be aiming to run and finish the ING New York Marathon, hopefully in as quick a time as possible! The run takes place through the 5 boroughs of New York, beginning on Staten Island and finishing in Central Park, however there is the small matter of the 42.195 kilometres in between

In order to run, I need to raise £2000. Although this might seem like a big total I believe that I can raise this amount and would ideally like to raise more for Action for Kids and the great work they do. Action For Kids work with young children and people who have physical and learning disabilities as well as helping support their parents and carers. By donating to help me you will be helping transform young lives by removing barriers to independence.
