Herriot Hospice Homecare aims to support patients with life-limiting illness and their carers in their own homes. The charity offers a range of services including sitting, driving, befriending, aromatherapy in the home and patient grants. Herriot Hospice Homecare provides personal care in the home, through a team of dedicated Healthcare Assistants with specialist training in palliative care, for those patients in the last few weeks of life who wish to die at home. All services are free of charge.

My story

I am running the Great North Run this year and would like people to donate if they are able to the Heriot Hospice who cared for my mother during her battle with cancer, which she sadly lost on 30th October 2008.
