<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>When my grandson Joe Peter Holman arrived in this world on 18th December 2008 he was, along with twin brother Charlie, 3 months ahead of expectation.&nbsp; As if that didn't present enough challenges for Joe, Charlie and parents Sarah and Dave, Joe was diagnosed within a few short weeks with the rare eye cancer Retinablastoma in both eyes.</p> <p>For over two years our family and close friends have shared in the journey Joe has made through groundbreaking chemotherapy treatments and a never ending series of visits to hospitals in London and Southampton.&nbsp; Today he is a happy, thriving boy but he will have to undergo regular monitoring for some years to come.&nbsp; In the meantime the constant support provided by CHECT to Joe and his family and friends - as well as to many others in similar situations - has been enormously helpful.</p> <p>As a group of family and friends we have therefore decided to cycle from Brighton to Exeter in June to raise awareness - and funds - for CHECT.&nbsp; Please dig deep and help us to help others!</p> <p>&nbsp;Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
