UPDATE JANUARY 24th 2012 

I am 34 lbs and £1000 lighter this morning after completing my sponsored slim. Those who doubted my ability to lose 60 lbs in a year were proved absolutely right - I definitely bit off more than I could chew (which is why I put weight on in the first place)!!!

 

For the record, I was 19st 6lbs and am now 17stone.  I feel immeasurably better and one or two people have even failed to recognise me!  As I failed, I now owe Beating Bowel Cancer a cheque for £1000 and I am delighted that in total we have raised nearly £8000 to fight bowel cancer with the various initiatives I have launched in this last year.  I still intend to slim but no targets this time!

 

Thank you for your fantastic support and some of you for your encouragement.  For the rest of you - I may be still a fat b...... but I’m a thinner fat b...... than I was!
