My story

They may not fly, but they lift the hearts of everyone they meet!
They can't fight monsters, but every day is a battle!
They don't have special powers, but the children and young people who visit Claire House are truly unique!

Claire House is a place of hope for families all over Merseyside and the Wirral, providing respite and palliative care for children and young people with life-limiting or life-shortening conditions.

But with £2.5million needed every year to keep the doors open Claire House relies on the support of the community to to continue to provide its current level of care!

On Sunday 13th May, I am going to be running the Chester Half Marathon, and Im running to raise as much as I can for this amazing place, and I ask you all to dig deep and support this wonderful cause!

Claire House cares for children aged 0 to 23 with life-limiting/life-threatening conditions from Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales and the Isle of Man. The charity provides specialist respite care, palliative and terminal care and bereavement and family support for the whole family in a home from home environment where the needs of the children and their families come first.
