<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. After more than six years spent supporting my wife to raise money for AbleChildAfrica I thought I would give her a rest and have a go myself and what better challenge than the highest mountain in Africa, Kilimanjaro which also happens to be in the land of my birth.</p>
<p>I grow up hearing the stories of the independence movement in Tanzania who talked of lighting the flame of independence flame on top of Africa's highest mountain. But almost 50 years later so many children in Tanzania still live in abject poverty. An estimated 2m of them live with disability too. AbleChildAfrica has 3 projects in Tanzania trying to change that. </p>
