For those of you that don't know me, both my mum and nana have been diagnosed with alzheimers and so the research trust is a charity that is close to me.

Having watched my mum and brother run the London Marathon last year I decided that I would start training in anticipation of running this year. Well several months later and a few hundred miles on the road, I now have my place and am a long way towards completing my first marathon.

As well as my personnel satisfaction of completing the marathon, what would also give me imense pride is knowing I have raised funds to help find a cure for Alzheimers. So please what ever you donate large or small will be very much appreciated.
